Provide essential overnight support as a Respite Support Aide to a child with complex needs in NE Calgary. This temporary full time role offers a chance to make a significant impact.
In this position, you will provide overnight assistance from Wednesday to Saturday, 10 PM to 8 AM, ensuring the child’s established routines are followed. Key responsibilities include monitoring a CPAP/BiPAP machine, administering medications, and maintaining detailed documentation. You will work in close collaboration with the child’s family and BSR’s care team to ensure a nurturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver attentive overnight support to the child/youth
• Monitor CPAP/BiPAP machine effectiveness throughout the night




• Administer medications in line with care plans
• Prepare meals and assist with personal care routines
• Document care updates and concerns efficiently
Requirements:
• Active Health Care Aide registration on Alberta HCA Registry
• Comfort with CPAP/BiPAP machine use for children
• Experience with medication documentation systems
• Reliable overnight availability, Wednesday to Saturday
• Ability to travel to NE Calgary for shifts
