This position requires a valid Class 1, 2, or 3 driver’s licence, along with experience in operating heavy equipment like snowplow trucks and wheel loaders. In addition to ensuring highway maintenance, you will be responsible for seasonal tasks such as pothole repairs, crack sealing, and cleaning signage. Working outdoors in various weather conditions is part of the job, making it essential for applicants to be physically capable of lifting and handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy machinery including wheel loaders and snowplows
• Maintain provincial highways year-round with safety as a priority




• Assist with Laborer tasks including crack sealing and repairs
• Work outside in any weather condition
• Support seasonal maintenance efforts during peak times
Requirements:
• Hold a Class 1, 2, or 3 driver's licence with air endorsement
• Complete mandatory drug and alcohol testing
• Maintain a transparent three-year driver's abstract
• Physically able to lift loads up to 50 lbs
• Previous operating experience is a robust advantage
