The Town of Stony Plain is looking for two Parks Operators for permanent full time positions. You’ll maintain park lands, recreation facilities, and walking trails, while sometimes directing seasonal workers. Your contribution will enhance community engagement and safety in outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain park facilities and landscapes effectively
• Operate relevant equipment for maintenance
• Provide orientation to seasonal staff when needed
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations
• Support various community maintenance tasks
Requirements:
• 3 years’ experience in turf and pest management
• Class 5 Driver’s License required
• Understanding of landscaping techniques
• Ability to obtain Pesticide Applicator License
• First Aid Certification preferred
