Elk Valley Resources seeks a Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard health and safety in office. Engage in proactive risk management and safety initiatives in the Elk Valley region.

In this role, you will report to the Supervisor, Safety, working a 4x4 rotation of shifts. You should possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to communicate effectively and lead training sessions. Your critical thinking and decision-making prowess will drive site security and health performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to health and safety policies and programs
• Evaluate contractor safety plans and perform monitoring
• Facilitate health and safety training and current hire orientation
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits




• Provide first aid and safety incident management

Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Advanced First Aid certification from WorkSafeBC essential
• Robust computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Suite®
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License necessary
• Relevant experience in health and safety roles is a plus
