The Captain is the Company’s authoritative management representative, focusing on crew welfare and the environment. Successful candidates will hold a Master Mariner certification and have a minimum of two years’ hands-on experience in dry bulk vessel operations. This role demands a strong leader who can align with safety regulations and Company protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage crew safety and vessel operations
• Safeguard the integrity of cargo and workplace
• Make critical safety and pollution prevention decisions
• Comply with Canada Shipping Act and Company policies




• Ensure adherence to ISM Code and quality standards
Requirements:
• Preferred Master Mariner certification
• At least 2 years of bulk vessel experience
• General Operator’s License (GOC – GMDSS) required
• Valid Canadian Passport or Permanent Residency needed
• STCW certifications in safety and rescue proficiency
