Summary The Ambulatory Operating Room RN responsibilities include:
RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.




RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
RN is responsible for qualified accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization.
RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room. Experience with operating pediatric case types is a strong plus.
Qualifications Specific Skills: Clinical skills appropriate to position, Interpersonal skills.
Certifications and Licensure: BLS (Basic Life Support), RN (Registered Nurse), ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department, Preferred Nurse Specialty.
Education: Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing, Preferred Bachelor's Nursing.
Facility: BayCare Health System, Ambulatory Surgery-SJH.
