$24–$27 per hour.

The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated and willing to learn all aspects of the trade: felling, climbing, rigging, equipment operation, and vegetation management.

No experience in the tree industry necessary! Lucas Tree Experts provides free on‑the‑job training for those willing, able, and interested in learning this skilled trade. A Class 5i license and reliable transportation are required.

Duties

Full‑time, year‑round, outdoor, physical labor opportunity.



Responsibilities include manual removal of vegetation from work areas, safely operating forestry equipment (5‑ton truck, woodchipper, chainsaws, polesaws), and performing line clearance, pruning, and removals.

Requirements
Must be able to work 45 hours weekly.
18 years of age with a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
Current and valid Class 5i driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Must be able to work outside in varying weather conditions.
Physically able to walk on uneven grounds and carry up to 75 lbs.
Willing to work at heights up to 75 feet.
Willing and able to learn how to run a bucket truck and operate equipment safely.
Willing and able to obtain a Class 3 license.
Must be able to obtain First Aid and WHMIS certifications.
Willing and able to obtain, and maintain, licenses and certifications required by the position to grow your career.
