The CBSA requires an experienced auditor with a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related disciplines, along with CPA eligibility. Applicants should have a minimum of three years' experience in audit or compliance verification, particularly in regulatory contexts. You'll play a critical role in the planning and execution of audits while collaborating with Senior Officers Trade Compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct audits for trade compliance using GAAP and GAAS • Provide expert technical guidance to compliance officers • Help plan and execute compliance audit activities
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field • Eligibility for Chartered Skilled Accountant designation • At least 3 years’ experience in auditing or regulatory compliance • Experience in tax return preparation and corporate policies • Valid Canadian passport and a willingness to travel
