About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Global Alliance Management, a pivotal leadership role focused on maximizing the value of strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and strengthening a network of over 40 key partnerships across the U.S., India, and Europe. This includes assessing the quality, reliability, and market knowledge of each partnership to ensure productive and mutually beneficial business outcomes. The role involves the introduction of best practices in alliance management, establishing governance structures, and KPIs to track partnership excellence. The Vice President will also be expected to possess an extensive network within the pharmaceutical industry, act as a brand ambassador,
and demonstrate the ability to communicate and ensure alignment with both internal and external stakeholders.
Applicants for the Vice President position should be experienced pharmaceutical leaders with a broad knowledge of commercial, R&D;, regulatory, QA, manufacturing, finance, and IP. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in strategic thinking, mediation, and negotiation, and the ability to develop meaningful relationships globally to meet business objectives. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, science, or a related discipline is essential, with an advanced degree such as an MBA or MSc being an asset. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of leadership experience in complex, agile, and rapid-paced global pharmaceutical organizations, and must demonstrate problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and a high degree of emotional intelligence.
