Pacific Wound Center is a leading podiatry practice in the Stockton area dedicated to helping people of all ages and lifestyles get back to enjoying the activities they love.

Duties and Responsibilities
Greet patients on the phone and in person
Place patients in the exam rooms
Take vital signs of patients
Assist and set up for examination, treatment, and procedures
Keep accurate patient files
Apply dressing, bandages, and splints as ordered by podiatrist
Maintain a sanitized and protected working environment
Maintain HIPAA compliance

Requirements
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision
Solid computer skills and use of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of basic medical procedures such as dressing a wound
Robust communication skills and ability to actively listen
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy




Strong organizational and clerical skills to maintain patient files and perform office duties
Customer service skills
Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
Certification from an approved medical assistant program or equivalent combination of training
EMR Experience, Athena experience is a plus

Compensation

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
