Contrast Insurance is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Insurance Administrator to join our team in Halifax, NS.
This is a full-time, in-office position that plays an significant role in supporting our brokers, ensuring exceptional service for our clients, and helping our office operate efficiently. What You'll Do
As an Insurance Administrator, you'll provide administrative and client service support across a wide range of insurance transactions. Your responsibilities will include:
Processing data to assist with quotes, applications, policy renewals, and other policy transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintaining client documentation is complete and up to date.
Responding to client phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.
Assisting clients with billing inquiries, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
Working closely with brokers and insurance companies to resolve policy and service-related inquiries.
Contributing to a positive, organized,
and client-focused office setting.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Solid customer service and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment.
Experience processing insurance transactions and maintaining accurate documentation would be an asset.
Basic financial and billing knowledge, including payment processing, account reconciliation, and invoice review.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and other business software.
Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.
A valid Nova Scotia General Insurance License, or the ability to obtain one if required.
Completion of, or a willingness to pursue, professional insurance designations such as CAIB or CIP is considered an asset.
