We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, customer-facing projects involving medium- and high-voltage equipment, rotating machinery, drive systems, power generation, and grid-support applications.

This position manages the full project lifecycle, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, supplier coordination, logistics, installation, commissioning, customer acceptance, and final closeout. The Senior Project Manager will act as the primary customer contact while coordinating internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.

The successful candidate will bring solid project leadership, technical understanding, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage high-value or high-risk projects with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage multiple complex projects from contract handoff through final completion and closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution.
- Develop project schedules, milestones, communication plans, deliverables, and acceptance requirements.
- Lead project kickoff meetings, progress reviews, risk discussions, and closeout activities.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, logistics, field service, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project scope and manage changes, approvals, and contractual commitments.
- Resolve technical, commercial, scheduling, manufacturing, and operational challenges.
- Lead escalations requiring cross-functional coordination and senior-level decision-making.
- Track project financial performance, including costs, margins, forecasts, billing milestones, revenue, and cash flow.
- Review project performance against schedule, budget, quality, contractual, and customer expectations.
- Identify project and commercial risks and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, internal procedures, regulatory requirements,

customer specifications, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and auditable project documentation.
- Conduct customer meetings, supplier reviews, factory visits, and project-site visits when required.
- Lead lessons-learned reviews, corrective actions, root-cause investigations, and process-improvement initiatives.
- Support and mentor less-experienced project management personnel.
- Contribute to project management standards, operating procedures, and broader business objectives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred.
- Equivalent technical education, professional certifications, and directly relevant experience may be considered.
- Approximately 8–12 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 5 years of project management experience involving electrical equipment, rotating machinery, industrial manufacturing, energy systems, or major capital projects.
- Demonstrated success managing complex technical projects with direct customer interaction.
- PMP certification is preferred; comparable project management training and experience may be accepted.

Knowledge and Skills

- Strong understanding of electrical and industrial systems, including motors, generators, rotating equipment, power electronics, drive systems, or integrated energy equipment.
- Familiarity with applicable standards, such as NEMA, IEC, IEEE, and UL.
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, scheduling, project controls, risk management, and change management.
- Experience using ERP and project management platforms; SAP knowledge is an asset.
- Strong commercial judgment and financial management skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to manage several complex priorities and influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
- Strong analytical, organizational, planning, and decision-making skills.
