We're seeking an experienced IT Cyber Security Consultant for a 6-month contract with a leading electrical energy supplier. In this role, you'll take on key responsibilities related to policy development, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will guide security strategies across IT and Operational Technology, making a tangible impact on organizational safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and refine cybersecurity policies and standards
• Identify control gaps and recommend tailored remediations
• Collaborate with stakeholders on policy implementation




• Support compliance with NERC CIP and BC FIPPA regulations
• Assist in defining security requirements during project phases
Requirements:
• 5+ years in IT, 3+ in Cybersecurity
• 2 years in policy development and implementation
• Experience with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and GRC frameworks
• Knowledge of cloud security and AI risk management
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in relevant field
