Reporting to the Branch Manager, the warehouse associate is responsible for accurate selection of orders, put away and receiving. Utilizing SAP, the warehouse associate will verify that all inbound freight is correct with the purchase order and enter the inventory into the system. Additionally, the warehouse associate will prepare all outbound freight for pick up each evening. Finally, the warehouse associate will help in the day-to-day cleaning of the warehouse and perform additional tasks as may be required.
Responsibilities
Pick orders, create shipments, load freight, and communicate issues to customer service representatives;
Manage inbound activities including entering purchase order receipts, processing returns, booking and recording inbound appointments;
Inventory adjustments and movements including short stock inquiries, cancelling orders, cycle counts, and quantity changes;
Maintain accurate records of all customer transactions, providing efficient follow-ups, resolving outstanding customer orders or concerns;
Maintain high standards of telephone etiquette and promptness;
Liaise with Customer Service and Procurement as required.
Qualifications
Previous material handling equipment experience is an asset;
Robust organizational, time management and analytical skills;
SAP knowledge and skills preferred;
Excellent knowledge of the English language is required.
