Join Mawo’Itijig Mijjuaji’g childcare centre as an Intervention Support Worker, providing crucial one-on-one support to children starting August 2026. Your role will aid children with developmental delays in achieving their goals.
In this fixed-term position, you will support a child in daily activities under the guidance of the Mawo’Itijig Mijjuaji’g Director. You'll collaborate with an integrated team, implementing developmentally appropriate programs tailored to each child's unique needs. Regular reviews with the Jordan’s Principle team and family ensure that all goals remain on track.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist and supervise daily child activities
• Facilitate inclusion through personalized interventions




• Engage with a multidisciplinary team of experts
• Prepare and submit progress reports quarterly
• Design and conduct daily activities aligned with curriculum
Requirements:
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Completion of mandatory ASD training
• Certification in First Aid and CPR
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Submit a Vulnerable Records Check
