As a Veterinary Teaching Technician in the Department of Biomedical Science at UPEI, your key duties will involve preparing anatomical specimens and managing teaching resources. Your work also includes setting up labs for a variety of sessions and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and areas used during preparation. You will interact with students and assist in providing a team-oriented teaching atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare various anatomical and chemical solutions
• Maintain teaching resources and lab setups




• Ensure cleanliness of lab equipment and space
• Handle and store chemicals as prescribed
• Assist students during practical lab sessions
Requirements:
• Minimum BSc in Biology or three years relevant experience
• Familiarity with domestic animal anatomy
• Teamwork and independent working capabilities
• Solid organizational skills and detail orientation
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
