Strides Toronto is seeking a dedicated Help Ahead Intake Worker for a full-time contract vacancy until June 30, 2027. This position requires a Degree or Diploma in Human Services and three years of relevant experience. Ideal candidates will possess solid interpersonal skills and knowledge of child and youth mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to diverse inquiries via phone and email
• Manage service inquiries with timely follow-ups
• Monitor e-referrals and ensure prompt processing
• Engage clients to assess mental health needs
• Document inquiries accurately within systems
Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Human Services required
• Minimum three years in related support roles
• Solid knowledge of mental health issues
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation training
• Ability to work collaboratively with service providers
