As a driller with Pomerleau's civil engineering & infrastructure team, you will work closely with all workers to ensure coordination of the work. Working on large-scale construction projects – ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion – you'll have the chance to support the skilled team and help ensure that work is carried out to specifications.

What You Will Do

Prepare and carry out drilling operations, as well as set up, dismantle and transport drilling materials and equipment;

Establish and determine areas to be blasted according to established plans;

Handle equipment in compliance with safety regulations;

Ensure proper operation of pumps;

Inspect blasting sites before and after operations to assess conditions and results;

Work as part of a team, maintaining a pleasant and trusting work workplace,



communicating effectively with colleagues and other shifts on site;

Perform regular maintenance on blasting and drilling equipment;

Perform all other related tasks.

This Role Is Made For You If You Have

A valid CCQ occupation card

ASP Construction & WHMIS 201 card

A valid Class 5 driver's license

General explosives permit

DEP in blasting or drilling
