Job Overview
Reporting to the Director of Regional Operations, the Business Development Representative will be responsible for driving new business and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed the assigned sales quota.

Develop current contractual business through diligent sales effort, including effective prospecting, referrals, and networking.

Maintain a target account system for major prospective clients.

Complete necessary reports and paperwork for all sales transactions.

Ensure all goods and services sold are priced fairly and comply with company policy.

Maintain sales support and presentation materials professionally.

Provide the manager with regular activity reports as directed.

Maintain assigned equipment, including the company vehicle,



according to company policies.

Develop relationships with new and existing customers to maximize sales volume.

Attend seminars and professional conferences as required.

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the relevant field.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of outside sales experience with an emphasis on prospecting and new customer development in the service industry.

Experience in the pest management industry is an asset.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Superior relationship‑building ability and thoroughness with clients.

Robust sales skills with knowledge of the complete sales cycle.

Willingness to obtain the Pesticide Applicators License for the assigned region.

Professional appearance that projects a positive image of the company.

Ability to work independently.
