Become a Sustainable Groundskeeper with UFV and contribute to a clean and vibrant campus. This role involves landscape care and seasonal grounds maintenance across multiple locations.
As part of the University of the Fraser Valley's groundskeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the campus's general appearance, cleanliness, and safety. Your hands-on work includes lawn and garden care, operating various tools, and contributing to minor landscaping projects. In this position, you will focus on sustainability practices and ensure the grounds remain pleasant and functional at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of campus grounds
• Execute garden and lawn maintenance tasks




• Operate hand and powered tools effectively
• Support small landscape improvement efforts
• Handle seasonal tasks, including snow removal
Requirements:
• Certificate in Landscape Horticulture required
• Two years of experience in groundskeeping or gardening
• Valid BC Driver's License; vehicle access required
• Ability in landscape maintenance and ecology
• First Aid training is an asset
