Lead energetic youth and family peer support programs with Foundry in Surrey, BC. This full time role requires expertise in mental health and substance use, ensuring quality service delivery.
As a Youth Peer Support Coordinator, you will oversee and coordinate daily activities at Foundry Surrey. Collaborating with the Foundry manager, you will guide a team of Youth and Family Peer Support Workers, fostering positive relationships and ensuring high-quality support services. You will also participate in community collaborations to enhance integrated care pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate site schedules and programming for effective service
• Supervise and mentor Youth and Family Peer Support Workers
• Implement best practices in peer support service delivery
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives for youth support
• Manage the peer support program budget responsibly
Requirements:
• Experience in mental health and substance use services
• Solid communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications
• Cultural sensitivity and commitment to anti-oppression
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team
