Teck is actively seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to bolster our Trail Operations team. In this role, you will engage in technical support, investigate reliability issues, and develop maintenance strategies. Your expertise will be invaluable in maintaining our extensive electrical systems, ensuring safety and compliance in a vibrant workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a safety leader across operations and maintenance • Troubleshoot electrical equipment to reduce downtime • Facilitate root cause analysis for chronic failures • Maintain electrical systems from 600V to 63kV • Develop long-range electrical asset management plans
Requirements: • Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or related field • Minimum 10 years experience in heavy industrial or mining • Eligible for registration with EGBC • Solid communication and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of motor protection and predictive maintenance
