Cympact is seeking two permanent part time specialists for overnight roles. You will work directly with guests experiencing suicidal crises, offering crisis intervention and support throughout their stay. This role includes collaboration with the Manager and Peer Support Specialist to create a warm, welcoming workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide a safe workplace for guests in crisis
• Support safety and recovery plan creation
• De-escalate crises with effective support
• Connect guests to community and respite resources
• Complete required documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with suicidal crisis
• Diploma holders with 5 years’ experience also accepted
• Training in crisis intervention is an asset
• Ability to manage workload per protocols
