Join Nova Scotia Health as a Registered Cardiology Technologist, delivering noninvasive cardiac diagnostics in Cape Breton. This part time role focuses on testing and patient preparation under expert supervision.
In the Eastern Zone, you will work within the OPEZ Electrodiagnostic Lab at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. As an advanced registered technologist, you will perform Electrocardiograms, Holter Monitoring, and provide support for Exercise Tolerance Testing. Your expertise will contribute to training new team members while ensuring high standards of patient care through effective testing and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct various noninvasive cardiac tests for patients
• Prepare and mentor learners in the department
• Perform stress tests under Cardiologist supervision




• Monitor ambulatory devices for up to several weeks
• Ensure patient comfort and understanding during procedures
Requirements:
• Completed Cardiology Technology program or equivalent
• Current registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists
• Recent clinical experience in ECG practices
• Current BLS (HCP) certification
• Adaptability to wide-ranging workloads and stressful situations
