Alwin Holland Elementary is seeking a dedicated Custodian to report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work under the Head Custodian. You will be responsible for cleaning tasks such as disinfecting interiors, garbage removal, and performing minor maintenance duties. Daily organization will be necessary to accommodate school activities and evening user groups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and disinfect building interiors, fixtures, and windows
• Secure doors and windows in assigned areas
• Perform minor maintenance on school fixtures and furniture




• Organize daily work according to priorities
• Assist with seasonal clean-ups and floor maintenance
Requirements:
• Grade 10 or equivalent education required
• Minimum 1 year of commercial or school cleaning experience
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively
• Valid Class 5 driver's license preferred
• WHMIS Certificate and safety training to be obtained
