The YMCA of Three Rivers seeks two dedicated National Lifeguard Instructors to lead Lifesaving Society courses. Candidates should ideally possess two years of relevant experience in lifeguarding. Responsibilities include organizing course materials, conducting classes, and engaging with students in an inclusive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard courses
• Ensure proper setup and management of course resources
• Create structured lesson plans to enhance learning
• Participate actively in all staff meetings and training
• Cultivate positive relationships with class participants
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years in lifeguarding roles
• Must hold National Lifeguard Instructor certification
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
• Robust communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Check required for employment
