Are you a registered Clinical Pharmacist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and agile environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Clinical Pharmacist department.
In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, this position provides pharmacy services to patients in Northern Health. As a member of an interprofessional team, this position assesses and recommends individualized treatments. Acts as the primary resource for drug information, education and provides expert advice to health care professionals. Monitors drug prescribing, drug distribution and drug therapy to ensure safe, effective, rational, legal and economic use of drugs. Maintains workload records and statistics.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday-Wednesday, Days - 08:00 to 16:00. Position will be a part of on-call rotation and may be a part of future weekend rotation
St. Johns Hospital is a 24 acute-care bed facility. The Hospital serves the communities of Vanderhoof and the Saik’uz First Nation, as well asacting as a referral centre for the surrounding communities of Burns Lake, Fort St. James and Fraser Lake.

- 24/7 Emergency department
- 2 outpatient bays
- Dietician
- Palliative Care
- Oncology Clinic
- Labour and delivery with Caesarean Section capabilities.
- Diagnostic Imaging, including Ultrasound and Fluoroscopy
- Lab including blood transfusion services
- 24/7 OR offering Orthopedic Day Surgery, Plastics, Dental, ENT, Endoscopy, and General Surgery
- Inpatient Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy
- Teaching facility for the University of Northern British Columbia
