At Oakridge Landscape Contractors, we’ve been building and maintaining landscapes across Southern Ontario for over 30 years. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Senior Horticultural Specialist who can bring solid plant knowledge, attention to detail, and leadership to our team.
What the role looks like:
This is a hands‑on position with a mix of fieldwork and team support. You’ll be the go‑to person for plant health and proper horticultural practices across multiple projects.
Lead The Way: Support and guide crews on planting, pruning, and general plant care.
Plant Watch: Monitor plant health and address issues related to pests, disease, or stress.
Quality First: Oversee plant handling, installation, and transport to ensure quality is maintained.
Plan Ahead: Review and tag nursery stock for upcoming jobs.
Precision Care: Apply fertilizers and treatments in line with industry standards.
Hands‑On Help: Step in on installs and maintenance when needed.
What we’re looking for:
3 years of experience in horticulture, landscaping, or similar work.
Solid plant knowledge and attention to detail.
Landscape Exterminator (Spray) License – required.
Valid driver’s license.
Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.
Someone who can take initiative and work well with a team.
