Our client is a real estate development company based in downtown Toronto. They assist clients with both residential and commercial renovation and restoration projects.
They are currently seeking to add a General Labour to their agile team.
Responsibilities
Clean and prepare job sites
Utilize hand and power tools for construction tasks
Assist in demolition work
Assist with installing drywall and tiling
Assist with minor patch work
Perform various carpentry tasks
Assist with commercial painting tasks
Changing outlets and switches
Install household appliances including dishwashers, washers and dryers
Assist with minor plumbing tasks including unplugging kitchen sinks
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must possess valid WHMIS and Working at Heights certificates
Must possess the ability to reliably commute to the jobsite
Prior experience in operating a scissor lift is considered to be beneficial
Must possess prior experience working in a construction setting
Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
Must be physically fit and able to lift objects up to 80lbs
