As a Health Care Aide at AgeCare, you will work part time in Calgary, collaborating with a Licensed Practical Nurse. Key responsibilities include assisting with bathing, feeding, and mobility of residents. You’ll ensure compliance with care plans while promoting dignity and comfort during daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Support residents in transfers using approved equipment
• Aid in feeding residents during meals and snacks
• Implement routine treatments as instructed by nursing staff
• Accompany residents to recreational activities and appointments
Requirements:
• One year of relevant experience in a care setting
• Completion of an HCA or PCA Certificate Course
• Active registration with CLHA of Alberta
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Commitment to compassionate resident care
