In this pivotal role, you will report to the Business Unit Manager and utilize your civil engineering education and road construction experience. Your responsibilities will include assessing bid specifications, negotiating with vendors, and preparing accurate cost estimates. With a focus on efficiency and process improvement, your work will contribute directly to the company’s growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and evaluate project bids and specifications
• Negotiate with subcontractors for competitive pricing
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for contracts
• Analyze project costs and report discrepancies
• Communicate documentation accurately and timely
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years of experience in road construction
• High proficiency in computer skills
• Familiarity with Bid-2-Win system is a plus
