As a Registered Nurse, you’ll report to the Director of Health and Wellness, focusing on assessing residents, documenting care, and facilitating resident education. Your expertise in critical thinking and care coordination will drive effective health plans. Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure timely and productive care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate and update residents’ care assessments
• Administer and safeguard medications per policies
• Supervise self-medication audits for residents
• Coordinate emergency responses in absence of leadership
• Address resident/family concerns with appropriate actions
Requirements:
• Valid Registered Nurse license in the applicable region
• Experience in gerontology or long-term care
• Proficient in written and oral communication
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively
• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening required
