As part of Young Life’s mission, this full time position focuses on grounds maintenance, building preservation, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will operate various landscaping equipment and oversee maintenance projects, fostering a positive work culture while supporting interns and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Model Christ-like hospitality and professionalism
• Maintain landscapes, buildings, and facilities
• Operate power tools and landscaping equipment safely
• Supervise seasonal staff and interns
• Respond promptly to guests' urgent needs
Requirements:
• Five years of general maintenance or landscaping experience
• Grade 12 diploma or higher
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License with clean abstract
• Knowledge of horticulture or grounds maintenance preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors
