Cambrian College is seeking a part-time Machining Programs Technologist, working 24 hours a week until December 2026. This role focuses on lab supervision and student support in a secure workplace.
As part of the School of Skills Trades, this position involves planning and maintaining machining lab facilities. Support faculty in the delivery and modification of academic curriculum, while providing essential guidance to students working on projects. You will play a key role in ensuring a protected and productive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the safety and organization of lab facilities
• Assist faculty with curriculum design and modifications
• Guide students through academic projects in lab
• Uphold and promote workplace safety standards
• Manage the installation of lab equipment
Requirements:
• Certificate of Qualification in Machining
• Valid First Aid and WHMIS certifications
• Three years industry experience post-certification
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
