Join 407 ETR as a Field Health and Safety Advisor, focusing on safety program development and field inspections in the Greater Toronto Area. This position requires evening and night availability for essential site visits.
The Advisor communicates directly with the Manager of Health, Safety, Setting & Wellness to implement safety initiatives within the company. You will prepare training materials, conduct safety inspections, and monitor contractor compliance while participating in incident investigations for continuous improvement. Robust engagement with all stakeholders is key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct site audits and inspections during nighttime hours
• Deliver safety training and orientations to staff
• Advise on ergonomics and safety hazards




• Maintain a library of Protected Operating Procedures and Toolbox Talks
• Facilitate incident investigations and document lessons learned
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in health and safety
• Minimum 3 years experience in a relevant role
• Certification in health and safety auditing is an asset
• Skilled in MS Office and training coordination
• Excellent attention to detail and flexibility
