Western Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre is currently welcoming an energetic, energetic ER Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This is an exceptional chance for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the entire hospital. This is a full time position that includes days, overnights, weekends and holidays.
Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patient and pet parents
Create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients
General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of ICU and triage, pet holding areas, and common areas
Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services and updated medical office procedures
Exceptional client service skills
Compassion and nurturing attitude
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and adapt to changing situations
