Support secondary school students' mental wellness as a Full time Mental Health Clinician with arc programs in the School District #23 area. Engage with youth facing mental health challenges in a compassionate workplace.
This permanent position involves working closely with students experiencing mental health issues in secondary schools. You will collaborate with school staff, medical professionals, and families to enhance understanding and treatment of mental health challenges. We seek a candidate with a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology, or equivalent experience to provide essential support to youth and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide counseling to youth with mental health diagnoses
• Collaborate with school staff and community services




• Develop skills for youth to achieve mental wellness
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities
• Conduct suicide risk assessments and safety planning
Requirements:
• Master's degree in relevant discipline preferred
• 3+ years of clinical experience in mental health
• Background in youth and family counseling
• Valid BC Driver’s License and screening clearance
• Knowledge of community-based services for youth
