Enhance service quality as a Service Support Specialist with Sensity, supporting the deafblind community in Hamilton and the Niagara Region. Lead teams, provide mentorship, and ensure best practices are met within Supported Living and Community programs.
As a Service Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in coaching and guiding Intervenors to deliver high-quality services. This position encompasses leadership, program coordination, and direct oversight of multiple initiatives that support individuals' needs. Your work influences team effectiveness and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach Intervenors in communication and environmental adaptations
• Produce summary notes for continuous improvement
• Ensure Intervenors have necessary tools and knowledge
• Lead onboarding experiences for current team members
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to enhance training
Requirements:
• College diploma in a relevant human services field
• Experience with developmental disabilities or mental health
• Proficient in American Sign Language or Signed Exact English
• Valid Class G driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Ability to lift 35 to 50 lbs occasionally
