The successful candidate will report to the General Counsel and will have the opportunity to work in a full-service in-house practice that provides strategic legal advice and services to the Director of Education, the Board of Trustees, the Senior Team, managers and school administrators, on a variety of interesting matters including governance, privacy and freedom of information, education law, human rights, contracts, litigation and labour and employment.As in-house counsel, the successful candidate will work directly with key client groups in the organization, such as IT and HR, to gain an understanding of client needs and to collaborate on solutions that advance the mission of the DDSB. Capacity and systems building within legal services and across the organization will be an important aspect of the role.Salary :
