As a Colony Coordinator, you will assist instructors, supervise students in labs, and handle procurement and treatment of colony animals. Key Responsibilities:
• Aid students in developing laboratory and clinical skills
• Oversee acquisition and care of colony animals
• Train and supervise students during kennel duties
• Manage inventory control and supply ordering
• Perform animal care in various colonies on campus
Requirements:
• 2-year Community College diploma and Veterinary Technician Certification
• 5 years of experience in veterinary technician roles
• Ability to work independently within RVT practice scope
• Familiarity with veterinary software and inventory management
• Experience with equine and large animals is an asset
