Elevate your tilesetting career with Mike's Tiles in Whistler, BC. This full time, on-site role offers competitive pay of $38.50 to $40.00 per hour and requires 3 to 5 years of experience.
As a permanent Tilesetter, you will work directly in office to prepare surfaces, mix and apply adhesives, and set tiles with precision. Key responsibilities include supervising other workers, instructing apprentices, and estimating project costs. You will also be responsible for creating decorative designs and installing marble and granite tiles, while working in various locations throughout Whistler.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces for tile application
• Mix and spread mortar and adhesives using hand trowel




• Set and align tiles accurately on surfaces
• Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
• Cut tiles around obstacles using hand and power tools
Requirements:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license required
• Physically demanding work condition
• Attention to detail and robust client focus
