Job Summary

We are looking for a Part time casual hours PSW for the following intersection: Bovaird Dr East and Torbram. The Personal Support Worker/Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.

Responsibilities
AM and PM care
Meal Preparation
Light Housekeeping




Accompany clients on outings
Shopping and errands
Medication Reminders
Ambulation and transporting of clients
Provide companionship to clients
Follow a care plan
Documentation/Charting

Qualifications
Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (e.g., foreign-trained nurse, nursing student after one year of completing the school).
Current CPR/First Aid training
Speaking Polish, or Russian (preferred)
Current Police Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Screen or be willing to obtain one.
Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Access to the internet/mobile phone
Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer’s
