Join JVD Installations Inc. in Norman Wells, NWT as a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Pipefitter. Collaborate with journeypersons to install piping systems through welding, brazing, or soldering in an industrial setting.
Candidates will assist in joining pipe sections while gaining valuable field experience. This position requires knowledge of ISO-metric drawings and an understanding of various pipe system components. Successful candidates must be physically capable, working in heights, while demonstrating problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand and interpret ISO-metric drawings
• Collaborate effectively with other trades
• Measure, cut, thread, groove,



and bend various piping elements
• Assist in assembling and securing piping sections
• Perform rigging tasks and support bolt-up
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks
• Complete pre-access training and drug testing
• Experience under minimal supervision
• Active Pipefitter Apprenticeship certification
