You will leverage your understanding of Indigenous culture and values while serving the urban Indigenous population and collaborating with partner First Nations. Your responsibilities will encompass counseling, patient care, and community wellness initiatives while adhering to culturally secure practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage counseling and intervention services
• Provide education on wellness and addictions support
• Advocate for clients' equitable health access
• Conduct assessments and schedule Social Work appointments
• Assist clients with community support applications
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Indigenous health determinants
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Valid Class G Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
