As a member of the Direct Service team, you will provide immediate assistance to individuals in mental health and addiction crises. Your responsibilities will include crisis assessments, risk evaluations, and utilizing harm reduction strategies. Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to in-person and phone service referrals
• Complete mental health/addictions assessments and interventions
• Establish therapeutic relationships with clients
• Provide short-term follow-up support for transition
• Coordinate client needs for longer-term services
Requirements:
• Professional registration with a designated college preferred
• Experience in mental health and addiction services
• Crisis management and de-escalation skills
• Robust communication and collaboration abilities
• Open to working bi-weekly rotating shifts
