This permanent role focuses on providing coordinated services in the Elgin Zone. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will analyze client needs, deliver crisis assessment and withdrawal support, and educate clients about substance use disorders. Your interventions will empower clients, helping them navigate community-based health and social services effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide crisis assessment and counseling support to clients
• Screen and assess individuals referred to the program




• Collaborate with community mental health and addiction service providers
• Offer harm reduction-focused client-centered care
• Conduct follow-up support to ensure access to long-term services
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a related field, preferably BSW
• Current and satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
• Ability to work regularly in a part time capacity
• Experience in crisis intervention and management
• Registration with a skilled college preferred
