Pursuit Collection is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for the iconic Columbia Icefield in Jasper, Alberta. This full time seasonal position offers excellent compensation and essential living arrangements during the spring and summer seasons.
As a key player in maintaining the glacier road, you will utilize your expertise to ensure safety and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include machine inspections, preventative maintenance, and assisting others as a mentor. A valid Equipment Operator ticket is preferred, and your maturity along with experience working in wide-ranging weather conditions will be vital for success in this challenging outdoor role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and grade the ice explorer glacier road
• Conduct pre-trip machinery inspections




• Assist with snow removal and equipment operations
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy vehicles
• Maintain a clean workspace and assist with cleaning
Requirements:
• Preferred Equipment Operator certification
• Minimum 3 years experience in heavy equipment operation
• Class I driver's licence advantageous
• Adaptability to adverse weather conditions required
• Knowledge of adherence to safety protocols
