As a Wound Care Specialist, you are responsible for offering treatment, guidance, and follow-up care to patients facing wound and ostomy complications. Collaborating with Care Coordinators and clinicians, you will implement evidence-based practices to ensure successful outcomes. Your role involves direct engagement, policy support, and outreach to enhance care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop care plans
• Act as a resource for interdisciplinary team members




• Apply best practices and monitor treatment effectiveness
• Assist with supply management and recommendations
• Engage in data analysis for program improvement
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with a current license in Ontario
• Certified in NSWOC
• At least 5 years of nursing experience
• Understanding of relevant healthcare laws and policies
• Robust communication and facilitation skills
