Become an essential Support Case Worker for Lawson Ministries under The Salvation Army, dedicating your efforts to adults with developmental disabilities. Flexibility in hours is required, including nights and weekends.
This relief position entails developing and implementing individual-centered programs that address each Service User's needs. You will collaborate with a supportive team to create a robust workplace that fosters emotional wellbeing and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning and evaluation of individual support plans
• Ensure Service Users' daily physical and psychological needs are met
• Monitor and document incidents and daily occurrences
• Facilitate transportation to required destinations
• Engage actively in program activities for Service Users
Requirements:
• Two years of experience in a related field
• Completion of a recognized Social Worker Diploma
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
• Current Criminal Records Check with vulnerable sector
• Ontario Class “G” Driver's License
