The Finance Director will provide critical financial leadership to the Keepers of the Circle, ensuring sustainability and accountability in all financial processes. Working alongside senior leadership and external stakeholders, you will manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support Indigenous community goals. Your experience in finance will be key to advancing the organization’s mission while adhering to compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Provide financial insights for evidence‑based decision-making
• Oversee payroll and day-to-day accounting operations
• Ensure compliance with funder requirements and regulations
• Support staff development and cultural financial practices
Requirements:
• CPA designation required or in progress
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field
• 5+ years in progressive financial management
• Experience with Indigenous organizations preferred
• Advanced skills in QuickBooks Online and Excel
